I was feeling overwhelmed and hopeless due to the many storms that had recently hit my life. So much was out of my control. Working with Kate has made me look deeper into the way I approach my health and daily routines. Before coaching, I often struggled with drinking enough water, grabbing processed snacks out of convenience, and eating late at night. Through Kate's meetings, she encouraged me to look at practical strategies that fit into my life as a classroom teacher. I’ve made positive changes that feel natural and sustainable. I now drink more water throughout the day while planning the bottles in the morning that I need during the day. I went into this process with Kate knowing that I wanted to take better care of my physical and mental health but not really knowing where to start when I already felt stressed and overwhelmed a lot of the time. She taught me how to make small, sustainable changes that helped me feel better without feeling like I was adding more to my plate.
I am drinking more water, planning meals ahead of time for the week, and have developed routines for household tasks that help me stay on top of things instead of feeling like I am constantly falling behind.
